For Rohingya refugees living in Bangladesh, a safe and durable shelter is essential for protecting families from heavy rainfall, strong winds, flooding, and other hazards. Overcrowded living conditions and exposure to extreme weather can place vulnerable families at significant risk.

IPAO works to improve living conditions for Rohingya families by supporting the construction, repair, maintenance, and improvement of safe and dignified shelters in refugee communities. Our shelter interventions focus on creating safer living spaces while strengthening household resilience to climate and disaster-related risks.
